Viva team unfazed by Easter trip
Viva Ronaldo should have no stamina doubts in the one-mile oddschecker.com Easter Stakes at Kempton, according to his trainer Richard Fahey.
The Xaar colt was quite busy as a youngster, running seven times and winning at Chester and York.
Although he has yet to race beyond six and a half furlongs, Viva Ronaldo has always put in his best work at the finish.
“He’s bred to stay a mile. He’s done well and will maybe a bit better for the run, but I’ve said that about a few of my winners,” said the Malton trainer.
“They’ve been pretty forward and he’s a solid, hardy horse.”
