Paul Carberry has given up the rest of his mounts at Navan after his fall from Charlie Yardbird in the Athboy Hurdle.

Carberry was still in contention when the Noel Meade-trained eight-year-old fell three flights from home.

The rider was stretchered off the track but was seen hobbling into the weighing room before heading to hospital for an x-ray on his knee.
