Catterick fit for racing
Today’s fixture at Catterick has been given the thumbs-up after a milder-than-expected night in North Yorkshire.
Clerk of the course Fiona Needham ditched plans for an 8am inspection as the forecast frost failed to materialise.
She said: “We had a heavy frost on Friday night but that wasn’t the case last night and we are
racing.”
The going is good to soft for the seven-race card, which begins at 12.25pm.
