Paul Webber was dealt a severe blow when One Gulp, the best horse in his Oxfordshire stable, suffered a career-ending injury in the BGC Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot.

The Bobby McAlpine-owned mare was travelling well close to the pace just after halfway when severing a tendon.
