Tomorrow's meeting at Punchestown is subject to a 7.30am inspection because of the threat of a severe overnight frost and freezing fog.

"It's difficult to predict. It all depends on how severe the overnight frost is. Hopefully it will be all right," said Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone.

The course is currently raceable with the ground described as soft to heavy, heavy in places.

The feature John Durkan Memorial Chase is due to feature 2006 Cheltenham Gold Cup hero War Of Attrition and high-class British raider The Listener.
