McCoy lands Master ride
Tony McCoy will be on board Champion Chase hero Master Minded when he lines-up in the Seasons Holidays Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown on Saturday, according to the Daily Telegraph.
With Paul Nicholls’ stable jockey Ruby Walsh currently on the sidelines after suffering a ruptured spleen at Cheltenham last month, Sam Thomas has come in for some criticism in some quarters of late after the high-profile defeats of Kauto Star and Big Buck’s.
Thomas suffered another wretched day on Monday where his two mounts at Folkestone both came to grief and it would now appear that Nicholls and Master Minded’s owner Clive Smith have elected to side with McCoy in this weekend’s feature.
