Morris mulls War plan
Mouse Morris has a number of interesting options to consider for War Of Attrition, who has emerged unscathed from his latest outing on the comeback trail.
The 2006 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner had little trouble brushing off inferior rivals in the Thurles Chase to follow up his defeat of Kicking King at Punchestown last month.
The Gigginstown House Stud-owned gelding had been off the track for nearly two years before that contest.
âAt the moment he seems well, so itâs so far so good, and he just had a little walk around the paddock this morning,â said Tipperary-based Morris.
âWeâll just tip away until Christmas with him, as we have the John Durkan, the Betfair Chase and then the Lexus or the King George to think about.â
