Easy does it for Castle
Aintree Grand National runner-up King Johns Castle is not expected to make a racecourse return for another couple of months.
Arthur Mooreâs imposing grey ran only four times last season before his brilliant run at Liverpool when he looked like the winner for some way before finding Comply Or Die too strong.
He has not been seen since that race and another quiet campaign appears likely.
âHeâs fine but I havenât a race in mind at the moment. I wouldnât think heâd run before Christmas and hopefully weâll then look again at Aintree,â said Moore.
King Johns Castle is a general 20-1 shot for the National in April.
The Naas trainer enjoyed success at the Cheltenham Festival through Tiger Cry, who went one place better than in 2006 by taking the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase.
Tiger Cry holds an entry in the same race he made his reappearance a year ago, Mondayâs www.swordsecurity.com Race at Galway.
âWe havenât made a decision yet, but are giving the race consideration,â added Moore.
