Kamsin takes Arc chance
German Derby winner Kamsin is set to be added to Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe field.
The three-year-old claimed the Classic at Hamburg back in July and has since bagged a further two Group One victories, although his Cologne success only came after the original winner, Oriental Tiger, was disqualified for a failed drugs test.
Kamsin's recent Grosser Preis von Baden win has inspired trainer Peter Schiergen to take his chance and connections will stump up the €100,000 Arc supplementary fee on Thursday morning.
He said: "It was decided to supplement Kamsin in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe as it looks like the ground is not going to be too firm.
"That was basically what pushed us into taking our chance."
