Richard Hannon is not resting on his laurels after his hugely successful raid on the Goffs Million sales races in Ireland over the weekend and sent out yet another juvenile winner courtesy of Sequillo at Windsor.

Hannon’s two-year-olds have surpassed all expectations this year, and the trainer netted over £1.5m (€1.8m) as Soul City and Minor Vamp scored at the Curragh on Sunday.

“Soul City is still in the Dewhurst, but I would be keen to finish him for the year.”

He added of Sequillo: “This is not a bad horse and he will be a nice sort next year as he is big and weak at the moment.

“I might give him one more run or just leave him until next year.”

Hannon, who was also on the mark at Bath, made it four for the day at combined odds of 311-1 as Hughes brought Higgy’s Boy (8-1) home in the closing Fast Track Handicap.
