Williams faces Zamboozle inquiry
Trainer Evan Williams and jockey Christian Williams will face the British Horseracing Authority’s disciplinary panel tomorrow over the running and riding of Zamboozle last month.
The pair were referred to the BHA’s Shaftesbury Avenue headquarters by the local stewards following the Home of Summer Jumping Selling Hurdle on July 2.
They were found to be in breach of the non-triers rule after the six-year-old had finished eighth of 10 behind Arisea, beaten a total of 44 lengths, on his first start for the trainer.
