The juvenile bumped into an improver last time at Catterick, and was sent off at cramped odds to collect in the EBF King’s Head At Burgess Hill Maiden Stakes.

The seven-furlong event proved to be relatively easy pickings for the twice-raced filly, who accelerated up the stiff finish to collect by a length and three-quarters.

“That is our eighth individual two-year-old runner and now she has won, all eight have won,” said Prescott.

“She had to work hard for it but she’s owned and bred by Dr (Catherine) Wills so I will have a very pleased owner-breeder.”
