Howard Johnson’s Norfolk Stakes winner South Central is likely to be stepped up in trip to six furlongs for his next start.

The unbeaten colt, who showed blistering speed on his debut at Carlisle when winning by 13 lengths, needed battling qualities to prevail at the Royal meeting.
