The recruit from Andre Fabre’s stable was last seen finishing a respectable third behind Myboycharlie and Natagora in the Prix Morny in August.

Aidan O’Brien runs Achill Island, who was second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf last October but cut no ice behind French Derby fancy High Rock last month.

O’Brien has won the race twice in the last three years with Admiralofthefleet and Gypsy King and also runs the maiden Sligo.

The race has been used as a stepping-stone to Derby glory in recent years by the likes of Kris Kin and Henry Cecil’s Oath, whose trainer this year saddles Unnefer.

The Niarchos family-owned colt had some decent form last year and won a conditions race at Newbury on his first start of the season.

Tajaaweed represents Michael Stoute, who trained Kris Kin, while North Parade runs for Brian Meehan.

Latin Lad and Midnight Muse complete the eight-runner field.
