Natagora quickened things appreciably at around the quarter-mile point as Infallible emerged from the pack with a strong-looking charge under Jimmy Fortune.
That Cheveley Park Stud-owned filly was closely pursued by Spacious, wearing connections’ first colours, as Nahoodh also began to come home with a wet sail.
Unfortunately, the latter had nowhere to go in behind Natagora as she found her route blocked, but the winner proved ultra-game in front and found more when it was required inside the final 200 yards.
Spacious would not give in but could only get within a half-length at the line, with Saoirse Abu claiming a close-up third.
