Olympic place for Ireland in show jumping

Horse Sport Ireland confirmed today that the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) has today allotted Ireland an individual place in show jumping for the 2008 Olympics at Hong Kong.

Horse Sport Ireland confirmed today that the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) has today allotted Ireland an individual place in show jumping for the 2008 Olympics at Hong Kong.

The place was secured for Ireland by the competition performances of Jessica Kurten. Horse Sport Ireland's Show Jumping Team Manager Robert Splaine said he has discussed the Olympics with Jessica Kurten, and that she has yet to make a definite decision on her availability.
