Redcar take a look
Thursday’s fixture at Redcar is subject to the course passing a precautionary inspection at 7.30am.
Like much of the country, the track has been hit by a lot of rain over the past 24 hours, leaving chief executive Neil Etherington hoping for a dry night.
He said: “We had 18 millimetres of rain overnight and this morning, and we have varying forecasts from not much at all to quite a bit more overnight.
“That’s the reason for the precautionary check and if we have no rain at all we will be fine.
“However, if we have quite a lot we might struggle so it just depends which forecast is right.
“The ground is currently soft, good to soft in places, but it wouldn’t take much for that to change.”
