Aintree braced for Taz-mania
Tazbar will face 12 rivals when he seeks a four-timer in the Grade One Citroen C5 Sefton Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree on Friday.
Trained by Keith Reveley, the upwardly-mobile six-year-old skipped Cheltenham to wait for this race after sluicing home in Grade Two company at Haydock in February.
Reveley said: “I’m not sure ’looking forward’ is quite the right wording as I’m certainly getting very nervous as the big day is coming up.
“But everything’s gone well and he’s had a good preparation. He seems in very good form too so we’ve just got to wait and see.
“He’s done nothing wrong yet but it’ll be proper Grade One company tomorrow and that’s when you find out what you’ve got.
