Chilly Huntingdon calls inspection

Monday’s meeting at Huntingdon hinges on an 8am inspection due to snow and the forecast of frost.

“We have had a bit of snow this morning but it’s turned to sleet. The concern is that the temperature could get down to minus three tonight,” said clerk of the course Fiona Needham.

“We have got the frost covers down but we feel it prudent to call an inspection. Hopefully we will be all right. We’ve not really had any frost even though we have had cold days and a chill wind.”
