Katchit wins Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle

Victory in the feature of the opening day of Cheltenham - the Smurfit Champion Hurdle – has gone to the Alan King trained ‘Katchit’.

It was the second winner of the day for jockey Robert Thornton.

Next over the line was Osana, with Punjabi finishing third and last year’s winner Sublimity only managing fourth place.
