Catch Me not caught at Gowran

McNamara completed a 186-1 big-race double at Gowran on Catch Me in the Red Mills Centenary Trial Hurdle this afternoon.

Taking over from long-time leader Scarth Lad before the third-last, Catch Me lived up to his name as he bounded away from the opposition.

The six-year-old, trained by Edward O’Grady pulled clear after jumping the last to win by four-and-a-half lengths from Jazz Messenger with Larkwing third.
