J'y Vole showed a fantastic attitude to get back up and beat Big Zeb in a thrilling renewal of the Dr PJ Moriarty Novice Chase.

Adapting her usual front-running tactics and making the most of her huge allowances, the five-year-old mare built up a healthy early lead.

But Paul Carberry was stalking J’y Vole on Big Zeb and gained the upper hand turning into the straight.

However, Ruby Walsh had saved something up his sleeve for the run-in and Willie Mullins’ 5-4 favourite was going away again at the line to win by five lengths.
