Sedgefield meet in doubt

Officials at Sedgefield are on weather-watch ahead of Tuesday's meeting.

No inspection has yet been called but the going is already heavy and more rain is forecast.

Clerk of the course Charlie Moore said: "We are currently raceable but we are very heavy and we've had 11 millimetres of rain through the night and early morning.

"There is heavy rain forecast through Monday and if we get more than around five millimetres it could cause us problems."
