Cork All Star set for Leopardstown outing

Cork All Star will bid to bounce back to winning ways in the Deloitte Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown on February 10.

Last year’s Champion Bumper hero made the perfect start to his career over timber when scoring emphatically at Fairyhouse last October.

The six-year-old appeared a likely winner when making a costly mistake at the final flight in the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle but he could finish only third on his latest outing at Leopardstown.

However, trainer Jessica Harrington has lost little faith in her charge and is looking for a good run ahead of a Cheltenham Festival trip.

She said: “Cork All Star is fine and I’ve entered him for the Deloitte.

“If all goes well he will head for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. That would be the plan at this stage.”
