Seb Sanders will have his appeal against a 24-day ban issued under the ’totting-up’ procedure heard by the disciplinary panel of the British Horseracing Authority on Thursday.

Sanders was found guilty of misusing his whip aboard Emperor Court, who finished second in the Come Jumping Here On January 21st Maiden Stakes at Lingfield on January 12.

As he had already been suspended for 24 days in the past 12 months for similar offences, the matter was referred to Shaftesbury Avenue.
