Kelso fit for racing
Kelso have given this afternoon’s meeting the go-ahead after a successful 7.30am inspection.
Although the overnight temperature dipped to around minus-two degrees, clerk of the course Anthea Morshead delivered a positive bulletin after assessing conditions.
She said: “It’s icy but it did not really get into the ground so that was obviously good news. It’s going to be very testing ground but we are racing.”
The going is currently heavy, with racing set to commence at 12.40pm.
