Abra-Cadabra for magic Murphy

Timmy Murphy healed the wounds of a forgettable 24 hours by mastering the complicated Abragante in the feature race at Wincanton.

Abragante, who wears blinkers and has a reputation for finding little under pressure, was competing from a 23lb lower handicap rating than over hurdles so was sent off as 15-8 favourite for the Badger Ales Trophy as a consequence.
