Murphy ace ready for battle
Ferdy Murphy is looking forward to the return of Aces Four in the bet365 Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on Saturday.
There have been no hiccups in the preparation for the exciting eight-year-old, who was last seen taking a crashing fall at the last when ahead in the Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown in April.
“He’s very well, we’re very happy with him and everything’s gone according to plan,” said the West Witton trainer.
“He will come on for the run which has been well documented and we are very much looking forward to the race.”
Murphy also confirmed Three Mirrors would run in the bet365.com Handicap Chase at Wetherby on Friday and Cheltenham Festival winner L’Antartique would make his seasonal debut in the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase at Carlisle on Sunday.
“We have a lot of horses ready to run. We just need a bit of rain,” he added.
