Vaughan makes Newmarket move

Trainer Ed Vaughan is set to move from Warren Place after agreeing to lease Jamie and Emma Spencer’s Grange House Stables.

Vaughan has enjoyed a profitable campaign with his small string and will transfer his training operation across Newmarket from December 1.

The young handler currently has 18 thoroughbreds in his care but hopes to start off next season in excess of 40 horses.

“I’m really excited to be moving to Grange House Stables,” said Vaughan.

“I’ve had a fantastic three seasons at Warren Place where Henry Cecil has been a terrific landlord and also become a close friend.

“His advice and support have been invaluable and I will really miss seeing him on a daily basis.

“With my string expanding, it became necessary to look for bigger premises and hence the decision to move across town to Grange House Stables.

“I’m really looking forward to the new chapter of my training career,” he told www.efvaughan.com.
