Jake Payne was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham after being unshipped from Puskas in the Betfair Apprentice Handicap at the track.

Payne, who was claiming 7lb aboard the Milton Bradley-trained Puskas, suffered the spill after his saddle slipped over two furlongs from home and was immediately taken to hospital.
