Prendergast lines up Weld Park bid
Kevin Prendergast holds a strong hand in Sunday’s Group Three CL Weld Park Stakes at the Curragh.
The handler is responsible for four of the 22 fillies still in the seven-furlong race, with Raja joined by Rainbow Crossing, Reyaada and Yarastar.
Aidan O’Brien has three possibles, including Hold Me Love Me, a full sister to Classic stars Quarter Moon and Yesterday.
Jim Bolger has three entries headed by Toirneach, with John Oxx, who claimed the race with Arch Swing last year, relying on Forthefirsttime.
Three British runners could take their chance. Mick Channon has entered Eva’s Request, while the Mark Johnston-trained Lady Jane Digby and Paul Blockley’s Lady Deauville could also try their luck.
