On-song Johnston strikes again

Mark Johnston’s filly Majounes Song gained a narrow victory in the Walther J. Jacobs-Stutenpreis at Bremen.

In a close finish, she got the better of Ioannina and Red Diva to take the Group Three race over a 11 furlongs.

“We aimed to win a Group race with her. She is a good fighter and did everything perfectly,” said jockey Jean-Pierre Guillambert.
