Beo considered for Nassau heat

Dual 1000 Guineas heroine Finsceal Beo is set to take her chance in the Blue Square Nassau Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday, ground permitting.

Jim Bolger’s filly is one of nine confirmed entries for the race, which would see her step up to 10 furlongs for the first time.

Bolger told the Racing Post: “If we are going to get good ground, there is every possibility that Finsceal Beo will run. We will wait and see what the weather does over the next few days.

“If she misses Goodwood, she could go for the Royal Whip at the Curragh on August 12 and then take in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on Irish Champion Stakes day before heading for the Prix de l’Opera.”
