The Invincible Spirit colt drops back to a mile on Sunday after delighting connections in a piece of work on Tuesday.

Trainer Jean-Marie Beguigne said: “Things went really well in his work and I was extremely happy with him.

“His work was good and we will now run him in the Prix Jean Prat.

“He is fine after the Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) and we are on course for the Jean Prat.”

Lawman made all the running under Frankie Dettori in the French Derby and landed the extended 10-furlong contest by a length and a half.

He will have his regular jockey at the weekend, however, as Olivier Peslier replaces the popular Italian aboard Beguigne’s charge having been claimed for another runner in the Jockey Club.
