Nijoom zooms to thrilling Albany success

Nijoom Dubai sprung a 50-1 surprise when flooring hot favourite You’resothrilling in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Aidan O’Brien’s filly was sent off the 7-4 market leader but could not find a clear passage when trying to launch her challenge.

That left Nijoom Dubai, who had been settled towards the rear by Jamie Spencer, to hit the front one and a half furlongs out.

Mick Channon’s filly kept on well to come home a length and a quarter clear of the slightly disappointing You’resothrilling, with Baffled another two lengths back in third.
