Cockney 'sore' after Ascot defeat

Dual Guineas hero Cockney Rebel is reported to be sore after his surprise defeat in the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The Val Royal colt was sent off the even-money favourite for the mile event but could finish only fifth after drifting across the track in the closing stages.
