Twomey wins St Tropez Grand Prix

Cork's Billy Twomey took the €10,000 first prize at the French Grand Prix in St Tropez this evening with the 13 year-old chestnut mare Anastasia III.

The 30 year-old veteran of Irish Aga Khan teams rode two fault-free rounds and crossed the line clear of French runner-up Florian Angot by just less than a second.
