Collins charge just Dandy
Dandy Man is in top shape ahead of the Temple Stakes at Kempton on Thursday - but connections have a watchful eye on the weather.
The four-year-old made great strides up the sprinting ladder last season but the only time he disappointed was on rain-softened ground at York behind Reverence.
He reappeared this season with a comfortable success in Listed class at Naas and trainer Tracey Collins has had the Group Two event at Kempton in her mind ever since.
“Dandy Man is very well and all things being equal, he will be going over to Sandown,” said Collins.
“We will be keeping an eye on the weather though. I’ve seen it’s raining over there and if it turns up soft he won’t be running.
“But at the moment he is all set to travel.”
