Darjina wins French 1000 Guineas

Finsceal Beo was just denied a famous Classic double as Darjina swooped late and fast to claim the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches at Longchamp.

Jim Bolger’s 1000 Guineas winner shot clear with two furlongs to run after a gap appeared on the rails and Kevin Manning appeared to have sealed the race.
