Teofilo’s most realistic first port of call this season could be the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot on July 28.

Having been the long-time ante-post favourite for the Stan James 2000 Guineas, a late setback prevented him from tackling the opening Classic of the British Flat season.
