Joe Edge displaces Dun Doire as Grand National favourite
A new favourite has emerged for Saturday's Grand National at Aintree.
Joes Edge, trained by Ferdy Murphy, has been backed from 50-1 to 8-1 since winning at the Cheltenham Festival, replacing Dun Doire as favourite for the famous race.
The final 40-strong field will be confirmed at lunchtime tomorrow, with the Irish challengers set to head across the Irish Sea during the next 24 hours.
Watering is set to continue around the clock, with the forecasters predicting fine weather leading up to the big race.
