Wise winner in Lincoln

Very Wise ran out a convincing winner of the William Hill Lincoln after making virtually all in the mile contest.

The Joe Fanning-ridden 9-1 shot, trained by William Haggas, tired inside the final half-furlong but was always holding the challenge of Rio Riva and prevailed by a length.
