Bleu one of four for Chase
Ante-post favourite Lucifer Bleu is one of four David Pipe entries for the Racing Post Chase at Kempton on Saturday.
Pipe’s lightly-raced chaser will race from 3lb out of the handicap but is still 21lb ’well in’ as the weights were framed before his latest romp at Wincanton last weekend.
Lucifer Bleu will be joined in the 15-runner line-up by stablemates Celtic Son, Puntal and Iznogoud.
Paul Nicholls saddles Cornish Sett and Hoo La Baloo while Philip Hobbs, who has a good record in the race, will run Lacdoudal who shares top weight with the Henry Daly-trained Billyvoddan.
Daly has a strong team for the Grade Three heat as recent course-and-distance scorer Alderburn also takes his chance.
Classy chaser Limerick Boy is still in the shake-up, while Sky Bet Chase winner Simon represents trainer John Spearing and owner Mercy Rimell.
Cheltenham Festival winner Reveillez, Without A Doubt, Iron Man and Lady Of Scarvagh will also go to post for the three-mile contest.
