Super Star survives late scare

Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite Kauto Star was made to pull out all the stops as L’Ami pushed him right to the line in a dramatic Aon Chase at Newbury.

And the Paul Nicholls-trained seven-year-old once again had to survive a final-fence blunder to collect in his Festival prep race, which was his fifth victory on the bounce.
