Musselburgh are not anticipating any problems ahead of tomorrow’s meeting.

With Chepstow already abandoned due to waterlogging, the Scottish venue is set to stage the only National Hunt action of the day.

Clerk of the course Anthea Morshead said: “The ground will be testing as we have had 13 millimetres of rain this morning and it is still raining now.

“The weather is supposed to get better this afternoon and we are forecast a dry night.

“Tomorrow should also be mainly dry but we may see a bit of patchy rain.

“If that forecast holds good, we will be fine but we will miss out the same three fences as we did at the last meeting.”
