Darkness out for season

Promising chaser Darkness has sustained a tendon injury which will force him to miss the whole of the current campaign.

The Charles Egerton-trained eight-year-old was successful four times as a novice last season, when victory in the Grade One Feltham Novices’ Chase provided the undoubted highlight.
