A competitive field of 11 runners at Fairyhouse will go to post for the Ballymore Properties Drinmore Novice Chase, headed by Paul Stafford’s Blueberry Boy.

Blueberry Boy boasted some smart form over timber and made a successful switch to the larger obstacles with an impressive two-and-a-half-length victory over Jessica Harrington’s Gemini Lucy at Punchestown last month.

Harrington this time takes on Blueberry Boy with Gazza’s Girl, an impressive winner at Galway before tipping up at Clonmel last time in a race won by Cailin Alainn, who reopposes at Fairyhouse.

Another notable entry is Edward O’Grady’s O’Muircheartaigh, who finished third on his debut over fences but collected in fine style at Punchestown two weeks ago.

Anothercoppercoast and Mossbank go head to head again after the former emerged victorious from a thriller at Cork.

Arthur Moore’s King Johns Castle, an impressive winner at Navan first time out this season, will have the assistance of Tony McCoy.

Mac Three and smart hurdler Vic Venturi also take their chance.

Schindlers Hunt and Alexander Taipan complete the line-up.
