Aidan O'Brien's record of training 14 Group one winners in 2006 has seen him named the Texaco Racing Award Winner for 2006.

Among his successes this year were Dylan Thomas in the Irish Derby and Champion Stakes, Alexandrova in the Irish Oaks, and George Washington in the 2000 Guineas and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
