Bath falls to fog

Tuesday afternoon’s meeting at Bath had to be abandoned after the fifth race due to dense fog.

Officials at the track were forced to call a halt to the eight-race card when the fog, which had been lingering all afternoon, descended even further to make visibility extremely difficult.
