The Coolmore-owned son of Danehill goes in search of a second Group One victory within seven days after he ran out an impressive winner of the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh.

But as Holy Roman Emperor has only raced three times on good to firm and once on good ground, trainer Aidan O’Brien is keeping a close eye on conditions in Deauville.

O’Brien told the Racing Post: “We’ll be keeping on top of the ground situation at Deauville.

“If it looks like being very soft then he might not travel.”
